Fun In Oahu, Hawaii: Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park If
the ocean and hotel pools simply aren't enough for you and your family
really wants more water activity, you can check out Hawaiian Waters
Adventure Park. This park is Hawaii's only water park and is full
of waterslides and water activity pools to keep you cool and give
hours of fun for the whole family. The park claims to have "25
acres of cool rides and adventure" so, if you are looking for
outdoor excitement, this may be just the place to keep your family
entertained all day.
How to Get
There
Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is located about a half hour west of Waikiki
in Kapolei, Oahu, the driest and warmest side of the island. You can
find it just off the mountain side of the H-1 Highway on Farrington Highway.
There will be signs leading to the water park.
Cost of Admission
As of July 2005, ticket prices were $34.99 + tax for adults, $24.99 +
tax for youths, $14.99 + tax for seniors 60 years and older, and
free admission for children under 2 years of age. There are also
reduced rates if you go with a large group and buy tickets in advance
for the group and discount coupons are available in many of the tourist
magazines given out at hotels and car rental places.
